UP

I watched UP on a plain old fashioned DVD player. Even without the power of BLU-RAY, it looks amazing.

Up is the story of a man and woman who grow old together. The woman dies, leaving the man to be lonesome and grumpy. When he's about to be forcibly removed from his house, he attaches a bunch of balloons to his house and flies off to South America, bringing an accidental passenger. Adventure ensues.

I liked it, but not in a huge way. I appreciate the animation and the characters, but the story didn't do much for me. The opening scenes were sweet, but that was pretty much the extent of any emotional reaction. It never got too exciting. It was funny enough for some chuckles.
